France worked out pretty well, I met Cormac on the ferry who was driving down the French coast and was willing to let me tag along. He was driving an A-team van and had a spare wet suit and surf board…. success!
I didnt do too much in France (apart from sun, and sea). Drove down the west coast to Spain, and then got the train back up to Marseille, to get the ferry to Tunisia.
This was my first day travelling in 'Le St Michel' north France, I think its a cathedral but am not entirely sure, I just took pictures cause everyone else was.
Sunset from the cathedral.
First night in the scauldy tent by the side of the road. Cormac maken the dindin.
Ahhh thats lovely.
Sunset, 18 cent beer and troll feet... jackpot.
Thats where I caught my first wave, hence Im holding up my index finger indicating a one.
Fishing for dinner, never caught nout.
Bordeaux, the start of the longest pedestriased street in Europe.
I hate blue piers.
Cormac loves blue piers, topic of many arguments.
More dindin at the A-team van.
This is the reason I was crap at surfing. These waves dont look that big in the picture, but they were absolutely massive.
Duck hunter scoping out the prey.
Retarded
Beach in Biarritz.
More massive waves
Me not standing on the board again.
This way my little camp site (pickey) in the coner of a golf course, I had to wait till there was nobody on the 6th hole and then legit to the car park. Notice my handy DIY work on a hole in the front door.
The DIY work from inside the deluxe suite.
Met a Canadian bongo fellow who camped on the golf course with us, he sleeps in the hammock and just throws a massive plastic sheet over the branches above.
12 o'clock on a Monday.
Up side down mammock
'Aidan the sword' admiring the pyrenees
These are from Spain. San Sebastian has a huge statue overlooking the city, small version of the statue in Reo De Janeiro.
San Sebastian beach.
Me at the statue, serious upward drafts there, or is my head upside down?
Beard update.
gas…u and cormac make a great couple!…love the handywork on the tent

Looking good Emmo. But Ireland is deadly craic. missing out now so you are. Who wants sunsets on the beach, surfing and random cathedrals when sure the weather’s class and everyone has jobs here!..not to mention how cheap the booze is..yes-sir-ee..Ireland sure is awesome!

Whtas up Mo? Looks like your living the dream alright, I’m hoping to have the “VW BEAST” on the road soon. By the way I’d say Sean would kill a man for a beard like that, its sheer beauty of the highest degree. I’m so proud. Keep it real.
